History

The Sign-of-Liberty-Gallery Berlin – which was opened at the beginning of 2005 at the heart of Berlin Kreuzberg, offered Tattoo Studio and Art Gallery in one. Bammer created his workplace and living space for his stays in Berlin.

As a private, not state-aided gallery, it became a platform for people interested in art and artists around the topic tattoos and other subcultural achievements off from the mainstream.

Until the cutoff of the official business at the beginning of 2013, numerous exhibitions and events in the sectors of photography, body art, illustration, painting and sculpturing were presented by national and international artists.

Many of the works were given to the gallery and are available to buy or lend.
